Commodore 1991
I was Commodore during the 1991 - 1992 year. That year was my third year on the Board as well as my third year in the Club. Our membership was around 150. As I recall, John Sparks was acting Treasurer and was relieved in mid-term by Herb Goettelmann.This was the second year for IJSBA races and I believe it was only three days. It was a great success.
The Club building was paid off the year before and thanks to the IJSBA races and a successful rummage sale, we were able to replenish the treasury and end the year with $10,000 in the black. We enjoyed many successful outings on the lake with 20 or more boats.
